I Built This for Myself

I started eclectibles_llc in 2014 as a hobby, thrifting around Madison, WI and flipping finds on eBay. It's always been a side hustle, never my full-time job. The problem was never sourcing inventory. It was the time sink of listing it all. I'd come home with a trunk full of items and then spend hours photographing, researching, and writing listings. That's why I built AIAL: to solve my own bottleneck. Photo in, listing out.

I started using AIAL on my own store the last week of November 2025. Everything you see below happened in about two months, while running this part-time alongside my actual job of building AIAL. The same tools I use every day are the same tools available to every AIAL user.

December 15 through January 29 (2025) roughly, were my first two months using AIAL. Total sales up 202% compared to the same window last year. Item sales specifically grew 220%. And this is still a part-time operation that I run alongside building AIAL.
